Repeated Prompts for Software Updates for Horde Container

We are getting prompted to install Software Updates in the UCS Management GUI. However we have applied the updates and rebooted. It goes away, but comes back a short time later for the same update.

The update is for Horde.

It also re-appears when updating via the command line…no matter how many times we run it this shows up…

root@bebucsmtasvrp5:/var/log/univention# univention-upgrade

Starting univention-upgrade. Current UCS version is 4.1-4 errata350

The most current version of the Horde app is 5.2.7-3. The UCRV “appcenter/apps/horde/version” should show this.
The repository settings are inside the container and can be displayed with

univention-app shell horde ucr search --brief repository

Logs to check inside /var/log/univention are appcenter.log and management-console-module-appcenter.log.

I hope that information from these sources can help to determine which component decides that the container needs to be updated.

Same problem here since Nov2017.
Have you solved the problem in 2016?

Thx
Frank

Hi,

i think this is a problem with the horde app itself. The reason was a buggy update script in the app. This should be fixed now (hopefully). You have to update the appcenter cache (univention-app update) and run univention-upgrade two times to check if it is working correctly now.

-> univention-app update
-> univention-upgrade
...
-> univention-upgrade
..
