Issues removing and reinstalling UCS App

Not sure if this is the right topic to post this under, but the App section of the forum appears to be rarely checked. We have a email to the vendor as well. We are trying to reinstall KIX2016 on our UCS Server.

However reinstall fails with:

kix4ucs is already the newest version.
The following packages will be REMOVED:
kix4ucs
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 1 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
1 not fully installed or removed.
After this operation, 135 kB disk space will be freed.
Do you want to continue [Y/n]? y

Removing kix4ucs …
dpkg: error processing kix4ucs (–remove):

Removing again fails with the same error.

Rebooting and trying again also fails with same errors

Attempts though the UCS App Center also fails (please see screen shot attached for those details)

Do not want to reinstall the UCS just to clear this issue out and be able to install the App.

Disregard this…looks like the entire thing went corrupt…now UCS updates fail…looks like I might have to re-install the entire UCS platform.

Now getting repeated UCS upgrade that fail to install and appears UCS will now NOT upgrade. Starting to copy off key files…and will rebuild.
