Adding as member server to windows domain

Hi

We are testing UCS core with a view of rolling it out to a few small regional sites to be used primarily as a DHCP DNS Server.

I would like to add this server to our windows domain but only as a member server. when i go through the wizard of joining it to the domain it seems to always default to adding AD connection and trying to set the USC server as a DC Master.

even if i untick AD connection it still seems to add it.

is there a way to add USC Core as a member server and then look at adding AD roles and other roles later?

Hi,

it appears that the AD Connecttion as described in 9.3.2. UCS as a member of an Active Directory domain is the usual choice. This requires the DC Master Role in UCS.
