UCS Desktop Virtualization Services 1.0 released

UCS Desktop Virtualization Services (UCS DVS) 1.0 has been released as component for Univention Corporate Server (UCS). UCS DVS requires UCS 2.4-2.

Screenshots, a feature overview, information about usage scenarios, benefits and prices are available on the product page. Questions and feedback are welcome in our forum in the area UCS DVS. Information about download, installation and the integration of UCS Desktop Virtualization Services are currently in translation and will be available in the next few days in the UCS DVS Quickstart Guide in the Univention Wiki and in the UCS DVS manual on the Univention website.

UCS Desktop Virtualization Services is a solution for companies and government organization for operation and management of virtualized desktops consisting of Microsoft Windows and Univention Corporate Desktop (UCD). It is an additional product for Univention Corporate Server (UCS) and uses the virtualization management of UVMM in UCS. KVM is used as hypervisor for the server-side desktop virtualization.

The Quickstart Guide for UCS DVS is now available in the Univention Wiki and the UCS DVS Manual for Administrators is now available for download on the Univention website.
